Podcast Producer

We are looking for a podcast producer to help provide awesome audio production, management and  marketing services to our partners. 

As a podcast producer, you will be responsible for assisting in every aspect of producing internal podcast brands and client podcast brands. 

You’ll Help To:

• Work with interested parties to bring them onboard as clients. 
• Create new ideas for podcast shows.
• Facilitate the launching of new shows. 
• Work with internal/external partners to book guests for the show. 
• Manage the podcast booking process from outreach to follow-up. 
• Draft show notes for episodes. 
• Create marketing assets for the show ie… audiograms, ,transcripts, social posts … etc. 
• Edit RAW audio and deliver the finished product to the client. 
• Manage the administrative aspects of the podcast. 
• Help to manage the podcast studio.
• Work with internal/external marketing teams to ideate, create and deliver marketing assets. 
• Play a key role in the development and execution of the podcast marketing plan.

• Ability to use good judgment to effectively solve problems.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and carry out office work with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Have:

• High level of organization.
• An eye for detail and self-direction.
• A positive attitude and a “can do” spirit.
• Understanding of digital marketing elements ie. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.
• Demonstrable experience and expertise in audio production including but not limited to; Audacity, REAPER, Adobe Audition or other digital audio workstations. Podcast Town standardizes around REAPER so you will need to be willing to learn REAPER. 
• Understanding of Canva or the ability/willingness to learn the platform. 
• Understanding of Headliner or ability/willingness to learn the platform.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
